You can move your accounts and transactions from Money Dashboard to PocketSmith using our custom import tool.
Exporting your accounts and transactions from Money Dashboard
Money Dashboard shut down their apps on 31 October 2022. So it is no longer possible to export your Money Dashboard data. You will have needed to export your data from Money Dashboard before the shutdown date.
Importing your Money Dashboard files into your PocketSmith account
Important
When importing data from another app, we recommend using a fresh PocketSmith account to avoid creating duplicate bank accounts.
If you have just started your PocketSmith journey and already have some data in your account, it's best to reset your PocketSmith before attempting to import data from your previous Personal finance management app.

Now that your Money Dashboard file is ready to import into your PocketSmith account, head over to the Money Dashboard importer and begin the move.
- Drag and drop your Money Dashboard CSV file directly onto the importer or click Choose file to select the file from your computer
- PocketSmith will display a summary of the accounts and transactions within the file. If everything looks good, click Yes, continue importing
- Wait for your files to be processed 🤓
- Follow the steps on the import form and fill in bank names and balances. Click Save and continue when completed.
- And just like that, you're all done! You have successfully moved from Money Dashboard to PocketSmith
- Take a look at the Dashboard, Account Summary, or the Transactions page to see that your accounts and transactions
