Using the Dashboard to report based on labels
You can use the Dashboard and certain widgets (the Earning and Spending widget, Transactions Column widget or Saved Search widget) to focus on specific transactions assigned with any of your labels.
If this is something you are interested in then check out the steps below.
- Use the Search Panel to find all transactions with your specific label
- Save this as a Saved Search
- Head to the Dashboard
- Add one of the three widgets mentioned above
- When configuring the widget settings, you can select your new Saved Search from Step 2
For example, the saved search can be used with the Earning & Spending banner widget.
If you choose the option to include the categories table, you'll get a table showing the category breakdown, similar to the Income & Expense Statement:
